Frequently asked questions
Which sheet is converted?
The first worksheet in the workbook. If your data is on another sheet, move it first or use a dedicated spreadsheet app.
What about multiple sheets?
Only one sheet becomes CSV (CSV cannot hold multiple sheets). A notice is shown when the workbook contains extra sheets.
Will Excel open the CSV correctly?
Yes — the file includes a UTF-8 BOM so Excel shows characters such as CJK and accents correctly.
